Interface Equilibrator

SOFTWARE

Interface Equilibrator consists of a standalone ".exe" file that does not require installation and that can be used on any desktop PC with Windows®:

• click the "download" button below to download the software's ".exe" file;
• save the ".exe" file on your PC. Then, the software is ready to be used and can be launched by double-clicking the ".exe" file;
• if you want to create a shortcut on your desktop, right-click the ".exe" file, then click "Send to.." and then click "Desktop (create shortcut)".

Minimum requirements: the software can be run on any 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Notice: the first time you launch the ".exe" file on your PC, Microsoft Defender® might show a warning message ("Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk"): if so, please click "more info" and then "run anyway". This is a standard warning that is displayed when an executable downloaded from an online source is launched for the first time: it does not say that the ".exe" file is unsafe, but it simply warns you to run the executable only if you trust the source. (If such a warning should keep appearing whenever launching the ".exe" file, then, to disable it: right-click the ".exe" file, click "properties" and then, in the "general" tab, select "unblock".)

To use the software on a PC, a license needs to be granted for that PC, see below. The software can be launched on a PC with no active license, but most of the software's functionalities are disabled until a license is activated for that PC.

LICENSE

• A license grants, until its expiration date, the use of Interface Equilibrator on a specific single PC.
• Any number of users is allowed to use Interface Equilibrator on a PC with an active license.
• Any version of Interface Equilibrator (including future releases) may be used on a PC with an active license.
• Whenever launching Interface Equilibrator on a PC, a working internet connection is required (for online license validation).
• The license is locked on the PC's hardware (CPUs, motherboard). Replacing, removing, or modifying such hardware will terminate the license for that PC.

To activate a license for a specific PC:

1. Download the software and launch it on the PC for which you want to activate the license.
2. Click "Menu" and then click "License manager..", which will open a new window: copy the code reported in the "PC's ID" text box (this code identifies the PC where the software is running).
3. Click the "order form" button, below on this page, fill in the form (providing the PC's ID copied in step "2"), and submit.
4. We process your order and send you by email an invoice for the requested license (see pricing below). This step usually takes 1-2 working days.
5. We wait until payment is received in our bank account (we accept only bank transfers as payment method).
6. Once the payment is received, we activate the license for the PC identified by the ID you provided in the order form and we send you an email with the activation code.
7. Launch the software on such a PC, click "Menu", click "License manager..", and then insert the activation code in the opportune text box and click "Activate": this activates the license to run the software, until the license's expiration date, on that PC (this step needs to be performed only once).

For free trial licenses, steps "4" and "5" are skipped: once we receive your order, we activate the trial license for the PC identified by the ID you reported in the order form and we send you the email with the activation code.

All the prices will be adjusted once a year, in January, to compensate for inflation (estimated using the Eurostat Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices).
